Airtel Kenya has unveiled new Unlimited Home Broadband 5G Data Plans, offering customers uninterrupted high-speed internet access and exceptional reliability on its rapidly expanding 5G network.
These innovative plans are tailored to meet the diverse needs of consumers at home and businesses alike, revolutionizing the way Kenyans connect in the digital age.

The Unlimited 5G Plans: Seamless High-Speed Browsing
The Unlimited plans are structured across three tiers to cater to different internet usage requirements:
- 10 Mbps at KES 3,500 per month
- 20 Mbps at KES 5,000 per month
- 30 Mbps at KES 6,500 per month
To subscribe, customers need to purchase an Airtel 5G router available at all Airtel shops for KES 2,999. These routers come with an innovative power backup feature, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for up to 5 hours during power outages – a first in the Kenyan market.

Customers can purchase the 5G routers at any Airtel shop across the country, order one through the Airtel Kenya website (https://bit.ly/3QlDG3K), or dial *400# for home delivery.
Purchasing or renewing unlimited data plans is just as convenient, either by dialling *400# or through the MyAirtel App. For support, Airtel customers can call 400, while non-Airtel customers can reach out to the support team through 0733100400.

Expanding 5G Footprint Across Kenya
Airtel launched its 5G network in mid-2022, starting with 372 sites in 16 counties across 180 wards nationwide. The company has since almost doubled its 5G footprint, with over 690 sites covering 39 counties across 285 wards.
Currently, Airtel’s network covers 89% of the Kenyan population, and the company plans to achieve 94% coverage by the end of 2024.
“We are on an aggressive network expansion drive, with the aim to roll out approximately close to 1000 sites before the end of the year,” stated the press release. “This roll out is the biggest ever in Airtel Kenya’s operations with the aim of improving indoor coverage in towns and connecting rural areas.”
