Epson has launched a new sales company to serve the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia (META-CWA) region.
With its headquarters based in Dubai, UAE, the new regional operations will be led by Neil Colquhoun, the President of Epson META-CWA.
This move aims to reimagine how technology can be utilized by consumers and businesses across this rapidly growing region.
Leadership Spearheading the Expansion
Neil Colquhoun, who has over a decade of experience with Epson, emphasizes that the META-CWA region presents significant growth potential.
Under his leadership, a diverse team of over 320 employees will drive the new company’s operations. Commenting on the expansion, Colquhoun stated:
“At Epson, we take pride in what we design, manufacture, and deliver. This expansion into the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia represents more than just business growth — it’s about connecting with the heart of local needs and delivering technology that empowers people and businesses, all while caring for the planet and building a more sustainable future.”
He added, “Moreover, this structure will give our talented on-ground teams even greater opportunity to support the continued business growth with local partners.”
Delivering Tailor-Made Technology Solutions
Epson plans to leverage its vast in-market network to deliver high-quality technology solutions across various sectors.
The company will focus on a wide range of categories, including visual display, printing, scanning, lifestyle, and manufacturing.
These solutions will be tailored to meet the increasing demand across sectors such as healthcare, financial services, education, hospitality, construction, entertainment, retail, and tourism.
Epson’s strong regional growth in recent years is evident, with the company reporting double-digit sales growth across the META-CWA region. Notably, its education solutions portfolio grew by over 100% between FY2022 and FY2023.
Sustainability at the Core of Epson’s Vision
A key component of Epson’s strategy is its commitment to sustainability. The company aims to become carbon negative and eliminate the use of limited underground resources, such as metal and oil, by 2050.

Commitment to Inclusion and Diversity
Epson META-CWA is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. Women occupy nearly half of the management positions, and the leadership team includes individuals from eleven nationalities, showcasing the company’s commitment to female empowerment and diversity.
In line with its commitment to local talent development, Epson META-CWA is also set to launch the Epson Graduate Program.
