KCPE 2022: How To Check KCPE 2022 Results

The KCPE 2022 results have been announce and the school calendar has finally been re-aligned.

Candidates who sat for the exam a few weeks ago, can finally check their results before the new year, and its festivities.

To check for your 2022 KCPE results or those of a candidate you’re a parent/guardian to follow the following steps:

1. Ensure you have at least KES 25 airtime on your phone
2. Compose a new message with the candidate’s Index number
3. Send the message with the index number to 20076
4. You will receive a message with the results
5. This runs across all networks including Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom Kenya

Alternatively, you can access the KNEC Portal for results, though this always seems to have issues with each announcement.

Facts About The KCPE 2022 Exam

Here are some facts about this year’s KCPE exams:

1. The best student for 2022 KCPE has scored 431 marks.
2. More than 1.2 million pupils sat for the exam.
3. There were more than 28,000 exam centres.
4. The exams were marked quite fast. More than 7K examiners were involved in the exercise, who complemented the optical recognition machines.
5. There were five exams, which were completed using multiple choices.
6. Insha and English compositions were marked by the said examiners.
