The OPPO Find X8 has officially launched in Kenya, following its global debut on November 21, 2024. It seems Kenya will only be getting the non-Pro variant of the OPPO Find X8.
Available at a recommended retail price of KES 139,999, you can purchase it from OPPO Kenya stores or their website.
Design and Display
The OPPO Find X8 features a sleek combination of glass and aluminum with OPPO’s unique Cosmos Ring design.
Its 6.59-inch display is compact and immersive, complemented by ultra-slim 1.45mm bezels. The phone’s lightweight 193g and slender 7.85mm profile make it easy to handle.
It boasts IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.

You can submerge it in 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes or expose it to water jets of up to 80°C. Swiss SGS and Military Grade certifications further enhance durability, including drop resistance.
The 120Hz screen supports a peak brightness of 1600 nits, ensuring vivid visuals even under direct sunlight. TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification protects your eyes during extended usage.
Additionally, OPPO’s Splash Touch technology guarantees smooth operation in wet conditions.
Cameras
The Find X8 features an all-50MP rear camera setup using the Hasselblad Master Camera System.
The 15mm, 24mm, and 73mm lenses support Dolby Vision HDR video recording at up to 4K and 60fps across all cameras, including the front one.
OPPO has improved video quality in LivePhoto with better dynamic range and stabilization. This makes it a practical choice for creators, as highlighted by Fredrique Achieng, OPPO Kenya’s PR Manager:

Its custom cooling system, featuring a vapor chamber and thermal conductive gel, ensures better heat management during intensive tasks.
Battery
The Find X8 is equipped with a 5630mAh battery, providing multi-day usage. Charging is quick with 80W SUPERVOOCTM wired charging and 50W AIRVOOCTM wireless charging.
Pairing with the OPPO Mag Charge case allows convenient magnetic charging.
ColorOS 15 and AI Features
The Find X8 introduces ColorOS 15, built on Android 15. It features an updated interface, faster touch response, and a new AI Assistant for productivity. Key features include:
- AI Clarity Enhance: Improves low-resolution images.
- AI Unblur: Restores natural details in blurry photos.
- AI Reflection Remover: Removes glare from images.
Other tools include Google Gemini integration and an upgraded Recorder app that transcribes and summarizes audio recordings.

Available in Star Grey and Space Black, the OPPO Find X8 features a diffuse, fingerprint-resistant finish. The Kenyan model comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
