The OPPO Find X8 Series has been officially launched globally, with an event held in Bali, Indonesia. The series consists of the OPPO Find X8 Pro and the regular Find X8.
These flagship devices are set to enter the Kenyan market, marking a shift in OPPO’s offerings locally, which have mainly focused on budget and midrange phones in recent years.
This will be the first flagship series from OPPO in Kenya since the Find X5 Series.
Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager of OPPO Kenya, shared her excitement:
“After the overwhelming reception of the Find X5 in Kenya, we are excited to once again have the Find X8 in the Kenyan market. We look forward to offering our customers yet another flagship experience tailored to meet their evolving needs. Kenya is a key market for OPPO, and the Find X8 introduction underscores our dedication to delivering world-class technology to our consumers here.”
Redesigned and Feature-Packed
The Find X8 Series introduces a new design approach. The Find X8 comes with a 6.59-inch flat LTPO OLED display, offering FHD+ resolution and a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the Find X8 Pro sports a slightly larger 6.78-inch micro-quad-curved LTPO OLED display with the same resolution and refresh rate.

The OPPO Find X8 Pro builds on this, adding a second 50MP periscope lens with 6x optical zoom (IMX858 sensor, 1/2.51″). Its main 50MP shooter is upgraded to a 1/1.4″ LYT-808 sensor.
Both phones integrate Oppo’s HyperTone image engine for clearer images and improved dynamic range. Other features include Hasselblad Portrait Mode and a new LivePhoto option.
The Pro model adds a “Quick Button” for instant camera access, zooming, and shutter functionality, alongside the return of OPPO’s alert slider button.

The Find X8 Series debuts with the Dimensity 9400 chipset, supported by a new cooling system with a graphite layer, vapor chamber, and thermal conductive gel.
Both devices run ColorOS 15, offering AI-enhanced features and a refreshed user interface.
