Oppo held it’s annual tech event, Oppo Inno Day, on the 14th of December. The Chinese unveiled three unique products, the OHealth H1 health monitor, the MariSilicon Y chip, and the Air Glass 2 AR glasses.
In this article, we have a look at each of these products.
1. Oppo MariSilicon Y
The MariSilicon Y is Oppo’s second custom-developed chip after the MariSilicon X dedicated imaging Neural Processing Unit. Тhe MariSilicon Y is however not a successor to the MariSilicon X, but rather a Bluetooth audio system on a chip.
MariSilicon Y is one of the first to use the advanced N6RF process technology, which allows for a 50% increase in Bluetooth bandwidth compared to current Bluetooth SoCs.
That translates to the ability to transmit 24-bit/192kHz lossless audio over Bluetooth, Oppo says that’s a first for the industry.
2. Oppo OHealth H1 Health Monitor
The Chinese company revealed that as part of its four Smart Initiatives, the company has invested a significant amount of resources in developing its smart health technology.
These include establishing the OPPO Health Lab in 2021 to develop proactive approaches to help users build healthy lifestyles, as well as the creation of its new smart healthcare sub-brand, OHealth.
The first product under the OHealth brand, the OHealth H1 family health monitor combines six health data monitoring functions intended for family use into a single device.
These health data monitoring functions are:
- Blood oxygen measurement
- ECG
- Heart and lung auscultation
- Heart rate
- Body temperature
- Sleep tracking
The monitor will be able to share that data with doctors, as well as hospitals and clinics.

3. The Air Glass 2
The Air Glass 2 allows users to make phone calls and perform real-time translations, and can also be used with location-based navigation services.
It can also be used by those with hearing impairments to convert sounds into text. The Air Glass 2 follows the launch of the Oppo Air Glass in December last year.
The Chinese company says it uses the world’s first resin SRG-diffractive waveguide lens, which it developed itself. The lenses will support vision correction, while the frames will be further customizable.
The Air Glass is equipped with the Snapdragon 4100 wearable device platform, and with the portable charging base, the battery life can reach 10.5 hours.
