Smartphone co-branding collaborations aren’t new, but a special edition phone with a beverage brand is not something we see very often.
Realme has partnered with the globally recognized brand, Coca-Cola, and the result is worth checking out. Realme has launched the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition.
This special edition smartphone has the same internals as the standard Realme 10 Pro 5G but features a custom paint job and software centered around the Coca-Cola theme.
Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition: Design
The design of this Coca-Cola themed Realme phone will definitely turn heads. The Coca-Cola edition of the Realme 10 Pro 5G has a matter black frame, similar to that of the ‘Dark Matter’ color standard Realme 10 Pro 5G.
The back panel is where things have really changed. It is now dual-toned, with a cropped Coca-Cola logo in silver with a red background on one side, and the familiar Realme logo on the other.
The chrome rings around the camera lenses are also red for this edition.
For the UI, Realme has created a bunch of custom icons and wallpapers to go with the Coca-Cola theme, and this makes for an interesting change from the standard edition.
Realme 10 Pro 5G Cola Edition: Specs
No changes we’re made specification wise for this Coca-Cola edition. The phone still features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, paired with an Adreno A619 GPU.
Moving to the optics, this Realme handset gets a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. It also features a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Realme however tweaked the camera software by adding an 80s Cola filter that transports your images back to the 1980s. They also tweaked the shutter sound and replaced it with a Coke bottle-opening sound.
The Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola edition packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
Availability & Pricing
If you’d want to get your hands on this Cola branded Realme phone, you’ll have a hard time getting it. The Coca-Cola edition Realme 10 Pro will only be offered in limited markets and only comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The phones goes on sale in India starting February 14th for ₹20,999 which translates to about $254.
Realme Kenya have not mentioned whether the device will be launched locally.
