In a somewhat surprising move, Samsung has discreetly released two new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, in the Kenyan market without any official announcements or launch events from Samsung Mobile Kenya.
Despite the lack of fanfare, these latest additions to Samsung’s popular Galaxy A series have already started appearing on shelves at various retailers across the country as well as online stores.
The stealthy arrival of the Galaxy A35 and A55 follows Samsung’s release of the entry-level Galaxy A05, Galaxy A15, and Galaxy A25 models in Kenya earlier this year.

Will Samsung Break Its Silence?
As the Galaxy A35 and A55 continue to hit store shelves and online marketplaces across the country, it remains to be seen whether Samsung will eventually make an official announcement regarding the launch of these devices in Kenya. The company’s unusual silence has raised eyebrows, especially given the typically high-profile nature of Samsung’s product launches.
Regardless of whether Samsung chooses to break its silence or not, the arrival of the Galaxy A35 and A55 is sure to shake up the mid-range smartphone segment in Kenya, offering consumers more options in this highly competitive price bracket.
