The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is set to launch in Kenya later this month, marking the latest addition to Samsung’s popular Galaxy S24 Series. This comes after the success of the earlier models in the series, which have performed impressively in the Kenyan market.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to build on this momentum, offering Kenyan consumers a premium experience at a more accessible price point.
Sitting between the Samsung Galaxy A55 and the base Galaxy S24 in terms of pricing and specifications, the S24 FE offers an excellent balance of performance and value.

Display and Design
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the device itself has dimensions of approximately 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm and weighs around 213 grams. The phone has an IP68 rating, indicating water and dust resistance.
Cameras
The rear camera system features a 50 MP main lens with dual pixel PDAF and optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide camera with a 123-degree field of view.

The phone supports video recording at up to 8K at 24 frames per second. For selfies, the front camera offers 10 MP resolution and can record video in up to 4K at 30 or 60 frames per second.
Performance and Storage
The Exynos 2400e chipset powers the Galaxy S24 FE, featuring an octa-core CPU that clocks up to 3.3 GHz and is paired with the Xclipse 940 GPU.
The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. However, there is no option for expandable storage through a memory card.
Battery and Charging
The device is equipped with a 4700 mAh battery, which supports 25W wired charging, allowing it to charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes.
It also supports wireless charging up to 15W, and features reverse wireless charging.
Connectivity and Software
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is 5G-ready, ensuring fast internet speeds. Additional connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6e, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.
Price and Availability
While the official pricing in Kenya hasn’t been confirmed yet, the global price starts at $649 (approximately KES 83,883).
It’s expected that the local price will be in a similar range, positioning the phone between the Samsung Galaxy A55 and the base Galaxy S24.
