Samsung has released a Windows version of its mobile web browser, Samsung Internet. The new browser allows users to sync browsing data like open tabs, history, bookmarks, and saved pages across their Samsung devices and Windows PCs.
Originally spotted by the tech publication SamMobile, Samsung Internet can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Store. After installing, users can sign in with their Samsung account to enable cross-device syncing.
While password syncing is not yet supported, the ability to continue browsing on another signed-in device makes Samsung Internet convenient for those invested in the Samsung ecosystem. It also provides an alternative to browsers like Chrome and Edge that offer similar data syncing.

The Windows version of Samsung Internet is around 130MBs and works on eligible Windows laptops and PCs. It provides a familiar interface for those who already use the mobile version, including features like:
- Dark and light browsing modes
- Ad blocking support
- Extensions from the Chrome Web Store
- Private incognito browsing
With Samsung expanding the availability of its increasingly popular mobile browser, more consumers may opt for Samsung Internet over the default options on Windows. The release also underscores Samsung’s strategy to better integrate its products and services across devices.
