Powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Processor
The key highlight of the Vivo X100 series is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset built on a 4nm process. It is an octa-core CPU with one ultra-core Cortex-X3 clocked at 3.05GHz, three super-cores Cortex-A715 at 2.85GHz and four efficiency Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz.

The chipset provides upto 12% higher CPU performance and 10% improved GPU rendering compared to the previous generation Dimensity 9000.
Stunning Displays with High Refresh Rates
Both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution. The screens support a high 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and LTPO technology for power efficiency.
The display brightness can peak at an impressive 3000 nits. Vivo is also using PWM dimming at 2160Hz to reduce eye strain. The screen is protected by a layer of Schott Xensation UP glass.
Impressive Camera Specifications
The Vivo X100 features a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor, 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 50MP ultrawide camera.
The more premium X100 Pro swaps the main camera with a large 1-inch 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor. The telephoto is upgraded to a 50MP sensor with 4.3x optical zoom. The ultrawide module remains the same.
Both phones provide up to 100x digital zoom and top-notch low light imaging. However, 8K video recording at 24 fps is limited to the X100 Pro model.
Giant Batteries and Blazing Fast Charging
The Vivo X100 packs a 5000mAh battery which is bumped up to 5400mAh on the X100 Pro. This should easily deliver over a day’s usage on a single charge.
The X100 supports stunning 120W wired fast charging that can charge from 0 to 50% in just 8 minutes. The Pro model gets slightly slower 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Original OS 4 Based on Android 14
On the software side, the Vivo X100 series runs the company’s OriginOS 4 skin based on Android 14. It brings improved privacy controls, theming options and smooth animations.
The new Vivo flagships seem extremely promising on paper with cutting-edge specs and photography prowess.
