Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has today confirmed that they’ll be unveiling the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 lineup on October 27 in China. We expect Redmi to launch three modules which consist of the Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+.
From the poster released by Redmi, we have a good look at the Redmi Note 12 series’ camera module design.
The Note 12 series is equipped with a triple camera setup and a horizontal LED flash unit. The design of the camera module is identical to what was seen on the Redmi Note 11T Pro series, which was announced back in May.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12Series Specifications
The Redmi Note 12 series will debut with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chipset. This is new mid-tier chipset from MediaTek that brings improved performance, better efficiency and beefed-up camera support compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 920.
Xiaomi also confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro will feature a 50MPSony IMX 766 main sensor in a separate poster. This is a 1/1.56″ sensor, capable of capturing up to 2μm fusion pixels.
The Redmi Note 12 series is expected to feature an AMOLED display with support for a high refresh rate. The Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ will feature 67W, 120W, and 210W fast charging. The Pro+ is also expected to feature a 200MP main camera sensor.
Reservations for the Note 12 series are now open in China. The Note 12 series is arriving to capitalize on the Double 11 shopping festival in China that is usually held on November 11.
We should see a global release of the Note 12 Series in the first quarter of 2023.
