Xiaomi has revealed over 20 popular global devices that will receive the HyperOS update in the first half of 2024. HyperOS is Xiaomi’s replacement for its previous Android skin, MIUI. Much like MIUI, HyperOS runs on top of Android but focuses more on refining the user experience for smooth performance and convenient features.
Xiaomi first launched HyperOS last year with the Xiaomi 14 series in China, initially keeping it exclusive to the Chinese market.
The company recently brought HyperOS outside of China for the first time with the Poco X6 Pro. Now, Xiaomi has confirmed the global rollout schedule will start sometime in the first half of 2024 across various devices and regions, though exact details remain forthcoming over the next few months.
