HMD Global has today unveiled the Nokia C31 in Kenya, making it the latest smartphone to be launched in Kenya under the C-series. The Nokia C-series is the company’s budget centric lineup offering reliability, security, and a clean Android experience on a budget.
The Nokia C31 features an improved 6.7-inch HD display, and long-lasting three day battery life with AI-powered battery saving features.
During the launch, HMD Global Chief Executive Officer Florian Seiche said that, “The Nokia C-series is about making quality and durability accessible. Nokia C31 sets new standards not only for the range, but entry-level smartphones in general. Everyone should be able to enjoy a great mobile experience”.
The Nokia C31 comes with Android 12 outside the box. There’s a set of three cameras at the back and a selfie camera that HMD says is powered by ‘Camera by Google’. The device also features better protection form dust and moisture, thanks to its IP52 certification.
