Foldable Phones Drive Success

OPPO’s ascendancy is in part attributed to the success of its foldable smartphones, a segment that is experiencing rapid growth in 2023 with promising future prospects. Global shipments of foldable smartphones are projected to increase at a 114% compound annual growth rate from 2019 to 2025, potentially reaching 55 million units by 2025.

OPPO, along with other Chinese OEMs, has actively embraced the foldable market, contributing significantly to China’s dominance in this segment, with a 26% market share in 2022.

OPPO’s Leadership in the Foldable Market

Recent data from Canalys reveals OPPO’s exceptional performance in the foldable market. In Q1 2023, OPPO held a commanding 31% share of the foldable market in China, establishing itself as a frontrunner in this burgeoning sector.
